Last Wednesday, an incessant chain of short, witty, and entertaining emails started between me and a guy from the third floor.  Someone who I’d met a couple of times, but never actually held a conversation with (unless I drunkenly did at the company Christmas party).  All I really knew is that he’s the IT dept head, young, and pretty cute.

The initial email started with me asking him to add another person onto my programs email account… who the hell knows how conversation manifested from that, but it did.  We’ve literally been going back and forth each day since then, and it’s progressively become more and more flirtatious.  It’s fun, but I’m getting to the point where he needs to actually ask me to get together in person, be it lunch, dinner, whatever.  On the other hand, I know I shouldn’t really get involved with someone from my company (which isn’t that big, mind you).  I will say that it’s made my work days much more enjoyable, but I don’t want to be short-sighted about things.
